Research Fellow
Andrea Pollio is a geographer whose interests coalesce around the relationship between urban economies and technological innovation. Andrea holds a PhD from the Institute of Culture and Society, Western Sydney University, where he contributed to several research projects—most recently, Antarctic Cities and the Global Commons. In his spare time, he is (hopefully) working on a book about the making of Cape Town’s startup scene and regional advantage in the venture-capital economy.
