Terre del Monviso

Il territorio del Saluzzese e delle Terre del Monviso è caratterizzato da un dinamismo socioeconomico e istituzionale che ne fanno un laboratorio interessante per l’approfondimento di attività volte a costruire iniziative integrate di sviluppo sulla base di processi negoziali e strategici.

La ricerca ha lo scopo di definire la base conoscitiva per l’attivazione di un processo inclusivo e strategico per recepire le istanze diverse del territorio, sostenendo un processo di sviluppo socioeconomico e spaziale che tenga in considerazione le esigenze diversificate ma che tenti di rafforzarne le integrazioni funzionali, al fine di rafforzare gli assetti insediativi, produttivi e di accesso ai servizi.

I contenuti del volume esito della ricerca, al contempo di valenza scientifica e intenzionale, hanno la funzione di analizzare e insieme supportare la volontaristica progettualità del territorio già in atto da tempo, offrendo elementi di riflessione, dati analitici e scenari strategici alle amministrazioni, alle comunità, ai portatori di interesse, agli attori dell’innovazione delle Terre del Monviso. Sono tutti “materiali vivi”, offerti alle comunità del territorio, per costruire dibattiti, prospettive, e ulteriori nuove progettualità e visioni.

Lands of Monviso – Strategic scenarios for a Metromountain territory

The territory of Saluzzo and lands of Monviso is characterised by a socio-economic and institutional dynamism that make it an interesting laboratory for the in-depth study of activities aimed at building integrated development initiatives on the basis of negotiation and strategic processes.

The purpose of the research is to define the cognitive basis for the activation of an inclusive and strategic process to acknowledge the territory’s diverse instances, supporting a socio-economic and spatial development process that takes into account the diversified needs but attempts to strengthen their functional integration, in order to strengthen settlement, production and access to services.

The contents of the volume resulting from the research, at the same time scientific and intentional, have the function of analysing and at the same time supporting the voluntary planning of the territory that has already been underway for some time, offering elements for reflection, analytical data and strategic scenarios to the administrations, communities, stakeholders and innovation actors of Terre del Monviso. They are all “living materials”, offered to the communities of the territory, to build debates, perspectives, and further new planning and visions.
