PhD candidate
Marco Del Fiore is an urban planner and a PhD Candidate in Urban and Regional Development at Politecnico di Torino. He holds a master’s degree in “Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape planning” at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis focused on the role of commerce in local and regional development. He also holds a second level master’s degree at Sapienza Università di Roma in “Natural Capital and Protected Areas. Planning, design and management” with an internship at Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri on the theme of European territorial cooperation.
His research deals with territorial cohesion policies and local development, with a particular focus on the inner area “Valli Maira e Grana”.
He is also involved in “Lands of Monviso. Strategic Scenarios for a Metromontane Territory” research project. On these issues, since March 2022, he has been conducting his research at FULL.
