On Saturday 18 March, Il Quartiere in Saluzzo will host the presentation of the document “Terre del Monviso. Scenari strategici per un territorio metromontano” (Lands of Monviso. Strategic scenarios for a metropolitan-mountainous area), the result of research carried out under a contract between the FULL Interdepartmental Centre and the Municipality of Saluzzo. The presentation will take place as part of the Terres Monviso Outdoor Festival, which will run from 17 to 19 March. It will also be an opportunity for institutional and non-institutional actors to discuss policies affecting inland, mountain and foothill areas and new forms of territorial organisation.
The contents of the volume resulting from the research, at the same time of scientific and intentional value, have the function of analysing and at the same time supporting the voluntary planning of the territory already underway for some time, offering elements for reflection, analytical data and strategic scenarios to the administrations, communities, stakeholders and innovation actors of Terre del Monviso. They are all “living materials”, offered to the communities of the territory, to build debates, perspectives, and further new planning and visions.
A welcome coffee with local products will be served from 9:30 a.m.
