PhD candidate
Tymon Wolender is an architect and urban designer, graduated from Politecnico di Torino in 2022. His thesis, titled “Border Scenery of Klodzko Land” supervised by Camillo Boano, intersects the relationship between people and space within border landscapes. Prior to this, he completed his bachelor’s studies at Warsaw University of Technology and La Sapienza Università di Roma.
He gained practical experience through a one-year internship at Schauman Nordgren Architects in Helsinki and collaborated with the Benedetto Camerana Studio in Turin on various architectural and urban design projects.
Currently, he pursues a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Development at Politecnico di Torino under the supervision of Loris Servillo. His research focuses on the relationship between rivers and cities. He concentrates on city reconfiguration, regeneration processes, and the integration of green infrastructure, aiming to foster transition-oriented imaginaries.
