Caterina Barioglio

Caterina Barioglio is a Master of Architecture. She holds a Ph.D. in History of Architecture and Town Planning at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy). After the graduation with the M.D. cum laude in 2012 she has working as an assistant professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin in both architectural design and history. Caterina’s research explore the relationship between architecture as a product and the process that define and shape it, through the lenses of different disciplines, with a contamination of the architectural and urban fields with the political and juridical history, and the social sciences. Her historical activities investigate especially urban transformations in New York City, Turin and Milan.
