Alma Vecchiotti is an architect registered with the professional association.
She is currently a PhD Candidate with a dedicated scholarship focusing on the topic “Urban Digital Twin and scenario planning. Challenges and paths for exploration”. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree, awarded with honors, followed by a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Design, obtained from the Politecnico di Torino in 2019, and a Master in Ecodesign – I.O.T., Lifecycle & Urban Regeneration. She has further enriched her education with international experiences, having been awarded two Erasmus grants.
Over the years, she developed a strong interest in the digital field, where she gained significant research experience as a Research Fellow at the ISPC – CNR (Istituto di Scienze del Patrimonio Culturale – Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. There, she conducted studies and developments in the field of Digital Twins.
Her Doctoral research combines her expertise as an architect with technological innovation, focusing on the application of “Urban Digital Twins” to create urban scenarios that assist stakeholders in managing and optimizing urban processes.
