On the one hand, there is the 5T study, which emphasises that there will be no benefit to the environment. On the other, there is the study requested by the Councillor for the Environment, Alberto Unia, from Arpa to prove the exact opposite. Unfortunately, there is still no sign of the latter. Despite this, Mayor Chiara Appendino is pressing ahead: ‘We are working on a complete overhaul of the central restricted traffic zone with the aim of creating a safe centre open to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport’.
